Before you push through one more project, one more favor, one more ā€œI got itā€ā€¦ I wanna tell you something I wish somebody had told me sooner...

Cuz I see it happen all the time: that exact second when a woman decides she’s finally gonna slow down… but instead of resting, she starts trying harder to ā€œget it togetherā€ 🫠

It feels right, doesn’t it? Cuz when you’ve been tired for sooooooo long, doing more feels like you got control. It feels like progress. Like proof that you’re not giving up right?

But here’s what I’ve learned and what I really want you to hear today Reader:

šŸ‘‰šŸ½ Real progress don’t come from pushing through Babes. It comes from slow, intentional, aligned steps. But you can’t take those steps if your brain is constantly spinning and you can’t think clearly enough to see where you’re going.

Let me show you what I mean:

One of my clients told me she’d been ā€œtrying to restā€ šŸ™ƒ for months: journaling, bubble baths, podcasts, you name it... But she was still waking up exhausted.

The problem wasn’t that she didn’t know how to rest… it’s that she didn’t feel safe slowing down.

So we worked on that... little resets, not total overhauls. Breathing and thinking about her answer before she said just yes to things. Taking five minutes to herself before fixing somebody else’s crisis. And sloooowly, rest stopped feeling like she was quitting. And more like an intentional rhythm designed for her real life.

šŸ’– You do know that same truth applies to you right Boo? You don’t need to throw out your whole life or start from scratch. You just need to stop abandoning your needs for the sake of ā€œgetting it doneā€

When you keep that commitment to yourself, here’s what shifts:
✨ Your mornings stop feeling like a sprint cuz you actually have time to acclimate to the day
✨ You start trusting yourself again and make more clear, aligned decisions
✨ And you finally realize: you were never lazy; you were just tired! 🄺

So before you push through one more time I need you to ask yourself this:
ā€‹ā€œAm I just trying harder to please people or am I finally ready to heal the pain underneath my hustle?ā€

That one question could change everything... sit with it... see what comes up.
